There was a time when your world was small.
Your village.
Your family.
Your immediate surroundings.
And within that space, your identity formed.
But today, your point of reference is no longer local.
It is global.
You are comparing your beginning to someone else’s middle.
Your behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlight reel.
And your nervous system is trying to process a volume of information
it was never designed to hold.
So when you feel “behind”…
or “not enough”…
or like everyone else has figured it out but you…
Pause.
And ask yourself:
Compared to what?
Because your point of reference shapes your reality.
If your reference point is unrealistic, inflated, or misaligned,
your sense of self will always feel distorted.
This is not a motivation issue.
It is a calibration issue.
Part of the work is learning to consciously choose your reference points.
To anchor into what is real.
What is yours.
What is aligned.
To come back to your own coordinates.
Because navigation is not about moving faster.
It is about knowing where you are starting from.
And from there, we move with clarity.
